About us

WHO WE ARE

Our player-centric program primarily focuses on unleashing the potential of exceptional players vs. running a soccer club. We work closely with players of all ages, starting at 5-years old.

At ESS, our coaches are committed to supporting players from all backgrounds in taking their game to new heights and beyond. We understand that each player’s circumstances are unique, and so we offer academy-level packages for players looking for additional training without a club commitment. Should your player be looking to play on an ESS team, we encourage you check out our Play Local opportunities.

Twice a year ESS offers players the incredible opportunity to experience playing abroad in Eastern Europe. These trips provide invaluable exposure to European-style play including opportunities to learn from experienced European coaches who are always on the lookout for potential talent.

HOW WE STARTED

The European Soccer School started in 2016 with one player, Keenan Peterson, whose dream was to play in Germany. Tony Bily Jr. made sure he had the opportunity to have successful tryouts. Upon finishing high school, Keenan signed with Spartak Trnava, a D1 team, in January 2019.

Since then, the program has grown to 60+ players from various states. These players have been exposed to 11 clubs throughout six different countries. Some players start as young as 5-years old in order to get accustomed to the European culture and method of training.

OUR LEGACY

Tony Bily Jr.’s European Soccer School is dedicated to one of the most legendary soccer players from Czechoslovakia, Ing. Anton Bily Sr.

Ing. Anton Bily Sr. was born in the small country town of Cary, next to Bratislava, where he practiced aerial magic with his neighbors. He became famous for his aerial domination and cat-like coordination in front of the goal. Scoring goals from any aerial position was his top trademark. Bily represented the Czechoslovakian National team in 1960 and played against the most popular players, like Pele, Garincha, Puskas. His son, Tony Bily Jr., followed his dad’s passion for soccer.

“My dad and I spent a lot of time on the soccer pitch where we would compete in running and pickup games. While I always liked playing soccer, I also focused on learning more about techniques and any scientific studies that focused on advancement in the sport. This is why I went to university to study my favorite topic, sports and languages.”

In XXXX, Tony Bily Jr. moved to North Texas and has been dedicated to developing an excellent accelerating program for young athletes in the USA. ESS is a one-of-a-kind program open to all athletes who want to develop like a pro and/or dare to dream of becoming soccer legend.
